**Krout Family Update**

Please contact Randy Case at 570-332-6362 for information of the needs of the family. They are slowly getting back some sense of normalcy and are in a temporary trailer on their property.  Chris and his family are extremely thankful for all who have donated and all who have helped in one way or another. 

There are also some plans being put in place to start a similar type foundation in the Mountain Top Area for residents who may need the same type of help.  This is not to take away from any type of items already in place by churches and groups but to help highlight them and give people hope and a place to start if this should happen to them as well. Contact Randy with ideas and suggestions.

Training from Bucks County Basic Fire Academy Program

Lehigh and Lausanne (L&L) Volunteer Fire Company

This course provides instruction to the student in basic fire fighting skills necessary to function as a responding member of a fire department. The following topics will be covered in this program:

Building Construction Ladders Search & Rescue
Vehicle Fires Fire Extinguisher Ropes & Knots Ventilation
Fire Hose & Streams Safety Water Supply Forcible Entry
SCBA Wildland Fire
HazMat Awareness HazMat Operations

First Aid/CPR Firefighter 1 Certification
Classes will be held on Wednesdays & Saturdays
- Wednesdays 6pm - 10pm -
- Saturdays 8am – around 4pm -
Starts: Feb 23rd, 2010. Ends: Approx June 23, 2010.
All Students will be required to have an IFSTA essential of Firefighting 5th edition training manual
