About Us

Established in 1957, Slocum Twp. Volunteer Fire Company has been serving the community for over 50 years. We have about appx. 20 active members and own a variety of fire and rescue equipment. State grants, fundraising and membership donations are essential for the upkeep and purchase of all. Click here for Directions.

A brand new 2005 KME International combination Pumper/Tanker was purchased with grants from FEMA and Township Community Developement.  This apparatus will allow a minimal number of firefighters to respond, cutting down response times when volunteer availability is low.
